I read about a really funny joke this morning.

Wanna hear it?

Okay, here goes.

There's talk of a possible John McCain/Condoleezza Rice ticket for November.

Okay. I'll wait until you stop laughing and dry your eyes before I continue.

It’s not that this would be an entirely illogical choice by the GOP. With the inevitable possibility of an Obama nomination by the Democrats (and although I voted for Hillary in the primary I’m a realist- the pendulum is currently swinging in Obama’s favor) and the chance of an Obama-Clinton ticket or vice versa, there would have been no psychic necessary to have seen this coming. For starters, all of the closet racists in the middle of the road, the children of Dixiecrats who helped provide Strom Thurmond, George Wallace and Jesse Helms with political careers (and, who like their heroes, mostly switched to Republican registration eventually,) won’t fell burdened with that nasty ol’ race issue getting in the way as we will have an African-American AND a woman waiting for McCain to die in office! And that of course should also impress the “moderates” who are scared of losing their tax loopholes and environmental oversights, as well as both African Americans in the country who still have any respect for the Bush administration!

From my view of the whole hilarious scenario, I’m just seeing this a one big ol’ national test. Just HOW stupid and gullible is the American electorate? This potential matchup could finally set the standard.
